NASDrink Exchange is the phone control deck for a venue's live drink market. Here's how to get signed in, what each control does, and how to reach us when something looks wrong.
Getting access
Accounts are issued by the venue owner — there is no public sign-up, because every account controls real pricing on a real bar’s screens. Ask your owner or general manager to create one for you.
Owners: create the staff user, then grant the staff role scoped to your venue and location from the owner dashboard. The new account can sign in immediately; no separate invitation step is needed.
Open the app and sign in with that email and password. The app sends you to your own venue automatically. If you cover more than one floor, you pick from a list.
What the controls do
Power. Opens or closes the market. While closed, prices hold and the TV board shows the closed state.
Crash. Fires a timed, venue-wide price drop — the on-screen spectacle that pulls the room to the bar. You choose the duration; it expires on its own.
Surge. Pushes prices upward during a rush, and can be switched off manually.
Boost. Multiplies how sharply prices react to demand, for a livelier board on a busy night.
Sync. Re-pulls your menu and stock status from the point-of-sale so the board matches what you can actually pour.
Owners additionally see a live-money band for publishing prices back to the POS, plus a kill switch that is always one tap away whenever that path is armed.
Face ID lock
The app locks whenever it goes to the background and asks for Face ID — or your passcode — when you return, so a phone left on the bar cannot be used to crash the market. If Face ID is unavailable, the passcode always works. The check happens inside iOS; NASDrink never receives biometric data.
Troubleshooting
“No access” after signing in. The account has not been granted a staff role yet, or it was granted after you signed in. Sign out, then sign back in to pick up the new permissions.
“This account only covers another location.” The account is pinned to a different venue. Ask your owner to re-scope it.
A control returns an error. Owner-only actions — publishing prices to the POS, the discount kill switch — are hidden from staff accounts and rejected by the server. If an owner sees this, confirm you are signed in with the owner account.
Prices are not moving. Check the market is open and the venue’s POS connection is healthy, then run Sync. If the board still looks stale, contact us.
Nothing loads. The app needs a live internet connection; it deliberately does not operate on cached state, because acting on a stale market would be worse than not acting. Check the venue Wi-Fi or switch to cellular.
Contact us
Email cv@goatsarena.us and we will reply within one business day. If the market is misbehaving during service, say so in the subject line and include your venue name and roughly when it started — we prioritise anything affecting a bar that is currently open.
